Early life

I was born and brought up in Hindustan Shipyard quarters (Scindia) in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Education

I feel that the school education is the best part of life. The teachers with whom we spend several years in school make significant impact on our lives. At every place I studied there were teachers who inspired me.

My first teachers are my father and mother. ........ No words are needed to describe

I started my pre-school under a banyan tree at Scindia quarters by Sri. Apparao, a disabled soldier from Indian Army. My first letter in Telugu, numbers, counting, tables, discipline every basic thing I use today were learnt from him. The current daycare centers took away his daily bread, I am sure they can not match him.

I studied in Gandhigram Vidya Nilayam (G.V.nilayam) up to 7th Standard. Smt. Radha (Science), Smt. Subhadra Teacher (Maths), Smt. Chlora (English), Smt. Ahalya (science), Sri. P.Suryanarayana (English), Sri. R.Suryanarayana (Science) and Sri. Sankara Rao (Maths) have made significant impact on my studies. Their teaching and their voice I still remember. My scout masters Sri. Ramana, Sri. Ramarao and Sri. Paparao taught me how to be courageous, independent and responsible.

For 8th to 10th, I moved to Port High School, Malkapuram. The principal, smt. Rajasree (English), Smt. Manimala (Telugu), Smt. Uma Maheswari (Social), Smt. Mangaratnam (Hindi), Smt. Sarala (Science), Sri. Reddy (Maths), Sri.Srinivas Reddy (Drill Master) have shown a different approach in life a balance between studies and extra curricular activities. They made the classes the most enjoyable and interesting.

I finished my 1st year intermediate in Dr.V.S.Krishna Govt. College, Maddilapalem. Here Prof Gopal Rao (Chemistry) inspired me with his dedication to teaching.

2nd year Intermediate in Port Junior College, Malkapuram. Here Dr.Venu Gopal (Chemistry), Sri. Ramachandra rao (Physics) made impact with their awesome teaching.Never need to study book again after their class. Every thing prints in mind just like scenes in a movie.

I got B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sri Venkateswara Hindu College of Engg (SVHCE), Machilipatnam, Krishna District. Here Dr.L.B.K. Sastry (Control Systems), even though at his seventies, he taught control systems class, very dedicated teacher. Sri. Sagar (Protection) best lectures, Dr. Krishna Murthy (Machines) best machines class, Uday kumar (Circuits) and Viswanadham (T&D systems) gave lot of moral support and encouragement.

I got my M.Tech in Electrical Power Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur. Prof.Sankar (Reliability), Dr.Srinivasulu (Power system operation and control), in spite of several administrative responsibilities, regularly took classes with lot of dedication

Here I need to mention Dr.Sydulu, professor in NIT Warangal. He came as an external examiner for my M.Tech project and encouraged me to pursue Ph.D. I still remember his words and really thank him for sparing few minutes with me which made significant impact in my life.

I received my Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I don't need to name the people here, whoever I met inspired me in several ways. Undoubtedly the best place for learning, exploration and imagination
