Involved in Corona, RIV and voltage distribution tests on transmission line insulators and associated hardware for 110 kV \u2013 800 kV class. This is carried out in the laboratory on a rotational basis. A summary of the completed projects is presented in table below with a year-wise breakup. Dr. Subba Reddy was the co-investigator in all these works.<\/p>\n

Some of the major clients for whom the tests were regularly performed are: M\/s BHEL Bangalore & Jagdishpur, M\/s WS Industries Chennai, M\/s Tag Corporation Chennai, M\/s Aditya-Birla Insulators Baroda & Kolkata, M\/s EMI Transmission Ltd, Nasik, M\/s Goldstone Infra-tech Hyderabad, M\/s Areva T&D Bangalore, Hosur & Noida, M\/s Asbesco (India) Ltd Kolkata, M\/s Klemmenn Engg Chennai, M\/s ITPPL Mumbai, M\/s Modern Insulators Abu-Road, M\/s Bajaj Electricals Mumbai and some foreign vendors.<\/p>\n
