In this lecture we looked at the radiometry of image formation.

Recommended Reading:

1. Chapter 2 "Light and Shading" in Forsyth and Ponce (Second Edition). It is strongly recommended that you read all of this chapter, although in this course we will not cover Sections 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.3.4 and 2.4. Time permitting we will use Section 2.2.1 in a later lecture.
2. Course notes on Radiometry, BRDF and Photometric Stereo from Ying Wu.

You should not expect an exact correspondence between material covered in the class and the readings.
